| Tiivistelmä: | We compare the attempts of five different manufacturing plants to improve labour- management relations through joint union-management quality of work life /QWL/ projects.Results obtained for the first two years of the change projects are examined. Two plants managed to improved labour-management relations, but through processes contrary to prescriptions given in the current literature. |
