| Tiivistelmä: | The authors explicitly state the philosophy underlying Bobko's approach to testing for the presence of interactions and compare it with the traditional one. Two modifications of Bobko's approach are described, and the procedures for testing ordinal interactions are compared with each other as well as to the ANOVA approach. The traditional approach is limited in power for detecting ordinal interactions and commonly identifies significant main effects but not when an ordinal interaction is present in the population. |
