| Tiivistelmä: | The financial profile of a firm is characterized as a combination of financial structures (capital structure, debt structure and the structure of external growth). The relationships among the different financial profiles are examined. A certain degree of coherence and - at the same time - plasticity is demonstrated. The dynamism of the financial profiles of multinational industrial groups is characterized. It is shown how the process of concentration has speeded up since the beginning of the seventies. Multinationalization is also proved to be a correlative phenomenon to the dynamism in the financial profiles. The financial profiles in France during the eighties are described. The role of privatization is considered. |
