| Tiivistelmä: | Applied social scientists in general believe that their mission is to produce valid research findings that may serve as technical solutions to specific problems. The author argues that many of the social issues of the 20th century are not amenable to traditional solutions. This requires a reassessment of traditional methodological procedures. |
