| Tiivistelmä: | After turning its performance around, ICL has been trying to make further progress through a programme of brainstorming by its senior managers. It is essentially a series of extended, off the job, brainstorming sessions, run by consultants jointly with ICL training staff using a technique originating in Germany and known as Metaplan. It is based on the psychological theory, 'nominal group technique', which describes how people solve problems creatively. It is an alternative to purely unstructured brainstorming. |
