Tiivistelmä:The author of the article states that if the one's meetings are not short, focused and productive than means that he or she is tying up a lot of expensive executive time unnecessarily. The author states that the one may not even need face-to-face encounters - e-mails might yield a decision more quickly. Increasing use of e-mail may spawn a new kind of work-place threat - the e-mail bully. These are people who tend to avoid real encounters and use indirect communication to browbeat others into doing what they want. And improved technology is making videoconferencing a convincing alternative. The author also answers the question are conferencing alternatives with a human touch any substitute.
