| Tiivistelmä: | Among the "timeless articles" from the 1963-1987 volumes of the journal this one /from 1973/ deals with the concept of cash flow. It reviews the most popular definitions, examines the techniques for accelerating the cash flow cycle. A particular emphasis is given to the problem of long transfer time, because a considerable amount of floating funds is permanently lost somewhere in the banking system. This underlines the importance of techniques as "wire transfer", "depository transfer cheque", "area concentration banking". Further improvements in cheque collection are predicted. |
