| Tiivistelmä: | Three basic approaches of flexible benefit plans are described: the core method, the participation option method and the additional allowance method. The pros and cons of each option to design a plan are discussed. Flexible benefit plan growth by year and number of companies is exhibited. That flexible plans offer a basic and an optional level of benefits is suggested. Two situations being able to complicate the frequency with which benefits must be changed, are noticed. |
