| Tiivistelmä: | During the Eight five-year Plan period, first industry registered a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, second industry 17.4% and tertiary industry 9.9%. During the Ninth five-year Plan period, the output value proportion of first industry is expected to continue to decrease and to have accounted for 15% by the year 2000. The proportion of second industry will increase from 47% to approximately 50%. The proportion of tertiary industry in gross national product will increase from 31.8% to 35%. By 2010, 40 million agricultural workers are estimated to have shifted to non-agricultural industries. In the field of basic industries there will be more investment in agriculture and efforts will be made to ensure no further decrease of cultivated land. The output of raw coal will reach 1.4 billion ton electricity, 140 million KW, crude oil 155 million ton, etc. |
