| Tiivistelmä: | This article deals with the first wave of call centre off-shoring from the U.K. to India from 2002 to 2004. Presented are trade union (here as: t-u.) responses in five case study companies: Prudential, HSBC, LTSB, BT, and Reality. Drawing on theories of union power resources, incl. international action, the relative efficacy of t-u. responses is analyzed. |
