| Tiivistelmä: | A growing number of companies is facing global competition. Major changes in the political structures and economies of many countries are occurring on a large scale. The impact on corporate policy and corporate strategies is sizeable, also because new success factors are emerging. More and more strategies are competing instead of products or services. This requires major changes also in the planning and strategy formulation process of the corporations as well as a further decentralisation within the organizations by organizing entrepreneurial units with the qualification of strategic flexibility. Time-based strategies and the importance of innovation processes are accompanying those structural changes. |
