| Tiivistelmä: | Hagenuk has been by far the most dominant firm in the German market of cordless telephone for years. However, due to wrong investment decisions, not perfect technical competence and intensive competition the firm's main business department got into crisis. The story and the rise of the middle size Kiel enterprise is described, and the reasons of the recent problems are analyzed. It is found that the firm /1/ was not able to build up a well functioning relations to its main client , the Telecom: /2/ it concentrated too long and too cordless equipment based on the new pan European DECT-standard /Digital European Cordless Telecommunications / began too late. |
