| Tiivistelmä: | This article has four primary purposes: (1) to justify the use of a multiattribute utility model such as conjoint analysis for evaluating innovative projects; (2) to review and critique the use of conjoint analysis for managerial decision making; (3) to apply this technique to the case of evaluating innovative land management systems; and (4) to report the results of preliminary tests of the technique's validity and user satisfaction. The conjoint analysis is proposed as a methodology for measuring managers' utility functions regarding innovative capital budgeting proposals. |
