| Tiivistelmä: | Epistemic communities have exerted their influence on decision makers in a wide variety of issue-areas. Generally called upon for advice under conditions of uncertainty, they have often proved to be significant actors in shaping patterns of international policy coordination. A robust study of an epistemic community's influence calls for comparative studies of countries and organizations in which the community has been active and those in which it has not. |
