| Tiivistelmä: | This paper studies small island tourism economies (SITEs) that are developing sovereign countries which rely on tourism as a source of exports. They need a consistent inflow of foreign investment in order to facilitate economic growth. The paper provides comparison tourism growth, country risk return and their associated volatilities for Cyprus and Malta. The results show that there is a direct relationship between the tourism sectors of Cyprus and Malta and their respective country risk settings. |
