| Tiivistelmä: | Firms play a key role in innovation, and finance and corporate governance systems (hereafter as: FCGs) are essential factors affecting the firm. When explaining national differences in innovation, these two systems must be considered. In addition, technological regimes of sectors vary in their demands of the FCGs. Finally, FCGs also vary among countries depending on its ability to to meet the demands of technological regimes. By analyzing these variations of FCGs with three dimensions of regime variation, the differences in technological advantage among economies can be explained. |
