| Tiivistelmä: | France is widely perceived to be going through a structural employment crisis at present with economic recovery failing to make a significant dent in the high level of unemployment. However, at the "micro" level of the individual enterprise, there are signs that employers and trade unions are starting to respond to the problem, by extending the agenda of company-level collective bargaining beyond its traditional central concerns of "straight" pay and working time, to the preservation and creation of employment. |
