| Tiivistelmä: | Strategic control is an integral part of the overall strategic management. Its control is intended to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of selected managerial strategy and on the attainment of the objectives. However, it is seldom used effectively. This study of 108 corporations is intended to identify and validate those strategic control factors that contribute directly to the success of strategic decisions at the chief executive officer (CEO) level which are subsequently implemented throughout the organization. In direct response to a questionnaire, 61 CEOs rated nine strategic control factors. These ratings tended to validate a conceptual process model of strategic control. |
