| Tiivistelmä: | The forming of European Internal Market causes reorientation of price policy. Because of the decreasing trade barriers the existing high price differences can not last. So, companies have to analyze the determinants of the their European prices and decide which price changes they have to make. The article provides a framework for the coordination of European prices. It shows that it is optimal to keep some level of price differences in the European Common Market. The "European price corridor" is a compromise between individually optimized prices and a uniform European price. |
