| Tiivistelmä: | The article presents a review of an RSA-sponsored inquiry into the role of business in a changing world. The inquiry is proactive. It is concerned in particular with change in a company's license to operate. The most important feature of this inquiry is its practicality. Six questions are suggested for the inquiry. (1) Does your business have a consistent message about its purpose or does that message change from one audience to another? (2) Do some purposes pay better than others? (3) How can you recognize all the stakeholders in your purpose while keeping the purpose simple? (4) What additional measures of success do we need? (5) Who are the shareholders anyway? (6) How far do you go? |
