| Tiivistelmä: | Four studies were conducted to find out how conformity influences illicit drug and alcohol consumption among high school and college students. The research supports the presence of attributional processing in response to peer pressure to use drugs and alcohol and suggests that attributional processing may be a mechanism for reducing conformity. |
