| Tiivistelmä: | A structural framework is presented for the analysis of time productivity across supply chains both at the macro and micro level. New mapping techniques are described and illustrated through practical examples and the importance of such analysis in the new manufacturing era of time based competition is discussed. Throughput efficiency is fundamentally an attempt to measure the productivity of time. In many markets developing high throughput efficiency manufacturing systems will be key to developing and maintaining competitive advantage. |
