| Tiivistelmä: | The paper attempts to apply the theories and methods in western developmental economic to the study of Deng Xiaoping's economic thought and makes a comparative study on the difference between the developmental strategies in Deng Xiaoping's economic thought for 1990s and that for 1980s. It concludes that the economy at present is not overheated. The delay of reform is restricting the economic development and its normal operation. The developmental strategy for 1990s should be a capital intensive pattern instead of a labor intensive one. The aggregate economic development should speed up to reinforce China's power in the competition with the surrounding countries. |
