Tiivistelmä:In Europe, development and implementation of successful international strategies has recently been complicated by the fiscal, technical and legislative changes which accompanied the creating of the European Single Market on 1 January 1993. Companies are being required to reevaluate their market position in relation to both new opportunities and the potential threat of new sources of competition. For those firms in Europe which decide to seek new customers and/or revise their market position but lack sufficient internal resources, a recommended solution is the creation of new partnerships and cooperative ventures.
