| Tiivistelmä: | Tolerance charting is a graphical representation of a sequence of operations of a workpiece in a process plan. With the use of a tolerance chart, the manufacturing sequence, dimensions and tolerances can be evaluated to determine if the blueprint requirements are violated. However, the determination of the process sequence is time consuming, requiring skilled and experienced manpower. This paper presents a method of determining the process sequence automatically. The paper uses a symmetrical, turned component with simple geometrical and surface features to describe the method. |
