| Tiivistelmä: | Companies that wanted to outlive the depression had to initiate changes, and permanent ones. But some companies did not fulfil this requirement to a sufficient degree. Quite a number of them decided to operate "within their sights", others sought new "paths" by imitating management methods that were successful elsewhere. The strategies adopted to overcome this situation were characterized by the absence of suitable concepts and the lack of courage to make changes. No wonder that many of them are not sufficiently equipped for the obviously coming upswing |
