| Tiivistelmä: | In their article, Zheng et alumni derive several dominance properties that have to be satisfied for an optimal schedule. These dominance properties are then exploited to develop a branch and bound algorithm for finding an optimal schedule. Unfortunately, two key dominance properties do not necessarily hold for an optimal schedule. The aim of this note is to show why the two dominance oroperties may not hold and to provide a modification which guarantees the validity of the two dominance properties. |
