| Tiivistelmä: | As managers have become increasingly aware of how their companies can be buffeted by risks beyond their control such as fluctuations in exchange and interest rates, they are turning to the derivatives markets, using instruments like forwards, futures, and swaps to insulate themselves from such risks. However, most companies do not have a clear set of goals underlying their hedging programs. This article presents a coherent risk management strategy that is integrated with overall corporate strategy. |
