| Tiivistelmä: | In multilevel production systems the product sequence at the highest level affects the sequencing in all levels. In tightly coupled pull systems the final product sequence determines the sequence at the lower levels. Miltenburg and Sinnamon (1989) presented this problem and developed two heuristics that explicitly consider each level. This article extends an alternative level scheduling objective to multiple levels, and provides a quick and dirty heuristic. |
