| Tiivistelmä: | China's chemical fibre industry can not contend with the advanced countries and regions in marketing prices, product quality and varieties as well as its ability to adjust to the changing market demand. So it is inevitable that China's rejoining GATT would bring great shock to its textile industry. To this end, 1. The import licenses that the state manages should be cancelled by stages and in batches according to the actual situation in chemical fibre industry; 2. The technological transformation should be first conducted in some selected chemical fibre enterprises; 3. The prices of chemical fibre products should be straightened out; 4. The people of the same occupation in every city and province should make joint efforts to establish a professional association to serve enterprises. |
