| Tiivistelmä: | Much attention has been devoted to the impact of technological progress on people as the users of technology. However, little is known about its impact on people who create, develop, and operate this technology and face the tidal wave of technological advancement as part of their work. In spite of its centrality to our lives, professional obsolescence remains an unknown territory. This article reports of an exploratory interview study. Through an iterative process the ground for a new framework was laid. |
