| Tiivistelmä: | Forget revolution. Continued, intense contact with the West will best help bring about the evolution of Eastern European business education. Some time ago, the author spent ten days lecturing at a Polish business school and was gratified to find all his classes and seminars jammed with students and businessmen. Everyone was enthusiastic and keen to learn as much as possible. In Poland, as in most of the former communist countries, the government lists business education as a high priority, and has given universities the freedom to set their own agendas and pursue independent policies. |
