| Tiivistelmä: | When doing economic analysis, comparing fixed points of different mappings is often required. This paper present some results on the comparison of fixed points of different mappings that generalize and have as a particular case the supermodularity results on the same topic. The result is that if one takes a certain order for which the mappings are increasing and ordered, the fixed points of the different mappings are also ordered in the same order. The results allow to make comparisons among equilibria of Cournot games with any number of firms which under the supermodularity results were not possible. |
