U.S. manufacturers need to reconsider the strategies needed to stay competitive. One such effort is the process of ongoing improvement based on synchronous manufacturing. The objective of synchronous manufacturing is to increase throughput while reducing operating expenses and inventory. To accomplish this, management must examine the links between decisions, actions and bottom-line profitability. |
