| Tiivistelmä: | The urgent thing to do at present is to rationalise the decision-making of interest rate. The so-called rationalisation is mainly embodied in the following: The level of interest rate is close to the market interest rate and can reflect more accurately the state of demand and supply of funds on market, and satisfy the need of economic development at the present stage. The structure of interest rate must embody the principle that risks and gains present direct ratio. To this end, we should establish a market interest rate system with the market demand and supply of funds as the basis, the base interest rate of the central bank as the core, and the interest rate of inter-bank lending as the intermediary. To do so, we should relax control over the interest rates of inter-bank lending, financial market, loans and savings deposit. |
