| Tiivistelmä: | Project managers play a key role in developing and implementing successful IS/IT projects. Yet such projects continue to fail. Reasons for this are varied but remedies are within the scope of the project manager. By acquiring and applying certain skills, project managers can go a long way to making IS/IT projects successful. The paper investigates the key skills that project managers need to possess in order to manage IS/IT projects. A plan of stages in which these skills can be developed is proposed. |
