Tiivistelmä:The author of this article provides a look at the next decade from the perspective of 2010. The author states that from the year 2010 things looked good for HR in year 2000. Then the author considers the following topics: 1) Individualism; 2) Making work meaningful; 3) Culture; 4) Learning; 5) The CEO's role in hiring and inspiring; 6) The failure of performance related pay; 7) Society and shareholders; 8) Bursting the boundaries of 'my job' and 'my organization; 9) The networked organization 10) The leadership triumvirate. The author concludes saying that for those who clung to traditional HR roles and attitudes the first ten years of the twenty- first century will be difficult and disappointing. People must be prepared to adopt new roles.
