Tiivistelmä: | The article compares the effects of real stores and virtual stores on the Internet. The three-dimensional virtual store was specially designed for this test and is based on the concept of one of the tested real stores. By this it was possible to compare the effects of real and virtual store design directly for the first time. The behavior model for real and virtual stores was confirmed for real stores in Germany, France and the US and for the virtual store by causal analysis. It can be shown that real and virtual stores have similar effects on consumers. Results of the well founded research findings of real store design can therefore be transferred to the conception of virtual stores on the Internet. |
