| Tiivistelmä: | This article examines the relation btw. the pay of the administrator and the firm's performance using a sample of ca. 1000 small nurcing facilities in Texas. The performance is measured using cost and profit functions. The results indicate that the highest paid administrators are the most efficient allocators of facility resources. A clear link btw. management compensation and organizational performance is noted. |
