| Tiivistelmä: | This article aims to test for the presence of habit formation in consumption decisions using panel data from Spanish households. The writers investigate whether the relationship between current and past consumption reflects habits of heterogeneity. The results of the study confirm the importance of accounting for fixed effects when analyzing intertemporal consumption decisions allowing for time non-separabilities. |
