| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims to examine whether the stakeholder (hereafter as: s-hldr./s-hldrs.) strategy (here as: str./strs.) matrix (as: m-x.) provides useful guidance for managers in dealing with s-hldrs. The m-x. suggests that strs. for dealing with s-hldrs. can be determined based on s-hldr. ability to co-operate and threaten organizational outcomes. It is found that there was an interaction effect suggesting that some strs. were more applicable to s-hldrs. with certain sets of influencing abilities, as the s-hldr. str. m-x. suggested. The specific s-hldr. group examined also appeared to impact on managers' views, which is inconsistent with the theory. |
