Tiivistelmä: | An integrated approach based on the theoretical streams of knowledge-based view, knowledge management (KM) and institutional theory, is proposed to explain how a successful KM program creates value. Discussed are four organizational capabilities (here as: capbs.) needed by firms to be developed simultaneously to create KM-enabled value. Possible organizational actions to develop these capbs. are identified. Various feedback and feed-forward processes, originating inside as well as outside the firm, integrate these capbs. into a KM-enabled value creation cycle (VCC) etc. Three case studies are used to examine developed key propositions. |
