| Tiivistelmä: | The definition of transfer sensitivity that has obvious similarities with the conventional statement of the Pigou-Dalton condition is discussed. The conditions that are known to be equivalent to an "unambiguous" inequality judgment based on Pigou-Dalton indices, and it is shown how an analogous result can be obtained for the conclusive inequality ranking based on transfer sensitive inequality measures. Simple necessary and sufficient conditions for a conclusive inequality ranking of distributions whose Lorenz curves intersect just once are provided. |
