| Tiivistelmä: | Three main problems are pointed out in the investment activities of French companies. During the past fifteen years substitution of capital for labour has been too fast and this fact together with a relatively slow development of productivity resulted in loss of competitiveness. The second problem is the present state of the economic theory since it badly deals with some considerations that are most important from a medium-term viewpoint. Econometrics results are inadequate to the growing demands. |
