| Tiivistelmä: | Because of the current farm crisis, the prevailing model of the specialized, "productivist" farmer is being challenged. Practices of a different kind of agriculture are developing that are based on the diversification of commodities and services. The occupation of the "ruralist entrepreneur" has come into existence, whose principal function is commercial. This type of farm applies an entrepreneurial strategy, calls for special skills in order to manage various activities together. It is capable of reproduction. New forms of collective work organization are taking shape. They give more responsibility to individuals and challenge special interest groups in agriculture. |
