| Tiivistelmä: | The Theory of Decision under risk and uncertainty was started in the 18 c. by two Bernoullis, and revived by von Neumann-Morgenstern (1944) and Friedman -Savage (1948). Although Allais (1952) discovered some problems in the foundations of expected utility (EU), it was too easily dismissed. In later years three streams emerged to fight EU theory 1) Theory of stochastic dominance, 2) Generalization of EU and 3) non-EU models. The paper reports some results and interpret them. |
