| Tiivistelmä: | Surveys in Britain and Australia show that most managers believe leadership, communication, and motivation skills to be essential for effective management. But these answers convey practically no information, because leadership, communication, and motivation are terms that are vaguely understood, and so indicate little about the precise types of skills and training required for each. The pursuit of them is incompatible with the development of professional business administration and is likely to lead to role confusion and serious errors of judgement. |
