| Tiivistelmä: | A report is presented of an experiment designed to test the predictive accuracy of some of the qualitative predictions of the perfect equilibrium in sequential bargaining. It is implemented in a way that allows the discount factors of the two bargainers to be varied independently. Comparisons are made between different combinations of discount factors for games of fixed length, as well as between games of different length for given discount factors. The problem of accurate measurement of the utility of the bargainers is discussed. Results are compared with earlier experiments' findings. |
