| Tiivistelmä: | Beside the factors connected with underdevelopment and the influence of the Soviet model it is analyzed how Chinese-type management manifests itself in the purposes of the enterprise in the structure of power and in leadership style. In a Chinese business the power of decision making belongs to the manager, the power of direction is exercised by the party committee and the congress of the workers and employees has the power of control. The autonomy of the enterprise is lacking because the objectives of production are determined by the central authorities.Tradition is seen in the form of egalitarianism and the hostility toward differentiation of salary and too large individual revenues. |
