| Tiivistelmä: | The concept of strategic gap depicts the balance (or imbalance) between the capabilities of a given organization and the opportunities and threats in its external environment. Presented is a conceptual model of strategic gap that is new to the literature of strategic management, relating it to four kinds of strategic choices which any organization can make. These comprise rationalism, replenishment, reinforcement and renewal. |
